Sarah manages events for WGSS, including academic conferences, art exhibitions, lectures, workshops, panel discussions, and more. Additionally, she handles communications for the department via social media, website, newsletter, and other channels.
She has a background in academia as an academic reference librarian and an adjunct history instructor, and she has worked extensively in the nonprofit sphere in grantmaking, grantwriting, knowledge management, project management, archival preservation, and event and festival coordination. She has served on numerous nonprofit and advisory boards, and is currently a trustee for the (UK).
