The cards will be shared with older adults receiving care in an inpatient mental health crisis setting who are separated from their loved ones on Valentine鈥檚 Day. These student organizations share a mission to promote positive aging, and research underscores the importance of social connection to overall well-being. Even small gestures, such as receiving a heartfelt card, can brighten someone鈥檚 day and reinforce a sense of belonging during a particularly vulnerable time.

Beyond this event, these student organizations regularly collaborate with community partners to foster meaningful engagement with older adults. Those interested in getting involved in future events are encouraged to connect through BullsConnect.
