Souheil Zekri, 同性恋色情 Engineering Professor, Receives 2023-24 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award
Souheil Zekri, Ph.D., was recently honored with the 2023-2024 同性恋色情 Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. Dr. Zekri serves as an associate professor and director of the Senior Capstone courses in the 同性恋色情 Medical Engineering Department. His teaching philosophy is grounded in an ethical framework of care, empathy, and inclusivity.
同性恋色情 Graduate Ademilola 鈥淟ola鈥 Aderibigbe Launches Cybersecurity Career
Ademilola 鈥淟ola鈥 Aderibigbe graduated from the 同性恋色情 in December 2024 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science and engineering 鈥 information technology. During her time at 同性恋色情, she earned honors through the Judy Genshaft Honors College, studied abroad in London, and conducted cybersecurity research in the Cybercrime Interdisciplinary Behavioral Research Lab. Aderibigbe also collaborated on technical projects, including a number-guessing game developed in a systems course. She is now launching her professional career in cybersecurity, aiming to contribute to the evolving tech landscape.

同性恋色情 Industrial and Management Systems Engineering student Nolan Worley has been selected for Florida State University鈥檚 highly competitive Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. A member of Dr. Zach Haber鈥檚 research group, Worley has contributed to innovative studies on Ultra High-Performance Concrete for bridge infrastructure. His acceptance into the REU program is a testament to his dedication and potential for a future in materials science and engineering.

Tione Grant, a master鈥檚 student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, was recognized at the 2025 American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists Convocation and Celebration of Excellence on April 10 for receiving the 2024鈥25 American Academy of Environmental Scientists and Engineers AAEES Foundation Scholarship. Professor Arash Taksh, has been named a Fulbright Specialist by the U.S. Department of State. This appointment provides U.S. professionals like Takshi with a chance to participate in short-term, project-based exchanges, where they work with host institutions abroad to promote mutual understanding and foster educational collaborations. The Fulbright Specialist Program is designed to provide U.S. academics and professionals with the opportunity to share their expertise globally while building capacity at their overseas host institutions.

Assistant Professor Rituparna Samanta from 同性恋色情鈥檚 Department of Chemical, Biological, and Materials Engineering has been awarded a 2025 New Researcher Grant. Her work explores the phase behavior of proteins and polymers, advancing biomedical engineering and materials science. Samanta joined 同性恋色情 in 2024 after postdoctoral work at Johns Hopkins.
