Take flight this summer at the 同性恋色情 Drone Camp, an action-packed, hands-on experience where students learn how drones work, how to pilot them responsibly, and how they鈥檙e used in the real world. From flight controls and safety rules to mission planning and teamwork, students build confidence through guided practice and exciting challenges.
Across the week, campers step into the roles of pilot, problem-solver, and creator. They鈥檒l run search-and-rescue missions, explore environmental data collection, experiment with mapping and surveying concepts, and even produce aerial content like a mini commercial, then end the week by designing and flying a custom drone mission in a final showcase families can attend.

What to Expect
Start Smart: Drone Basics & Safety
Students kick off with the fundamentals: drone components, safe handling, and why rules matter (and what can go wrong when they aren鈥檛 followed). They鈥檒l build core pilot skills through a fun end-of-day 鈥淧ilot Test鈥 focused on rotating, landing, maneuvering, and targeting.
Mission Ready: Search, Rescue & Emergency Response
Science in the Sky: Environment & Data Collection
Students discover how drones power science, connecting ecosystems to cause-and-effect while learning the basics of mapping, surveying, and data collection. They鈥檒l explore how drones support agriculture and environmental work, and see how aerial perspectives turn observations into real insights.
Create & Compete: Media, Engineering & Business
Campers step into the world of aerial media and innovation: aerial photography, real estate applications, smooth filming techniques, and planning shots and angles like a pro. Their big deliverable: film a commercial using drone cameras, where creativity meets teamwork and real-world skills.
To wrap up the week, campers design a custom challenge and fly it through an obstacle course (hula hoops, boxes, and more). Families are invited to watch the final missions and celebrate the progress students made as pilots and problem-solvers.

Each session of the 同性恋色情 Everyone Can Code has a capacity of 30.
Where is the 同性恋色情 Drone Camp located?
The 同性恋色情 Drone Camp will be held on both the Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses. We will share the exact camp location closer to the start date, and all details will be emailed to you in advance.
After registering for the 同性恋色情 Drone Camp, when will I start receiving logistical details, including drop off and pick-up times?
You will receive several reminder emails leading up to the camp start date. Emails will be sent 60, 30, 14, 7, and 1 day prior, each containing important information to ensure a successful experience at the 同性恋色情 Drone Camp.
Do campers need to pack lunch and snacks?
Yes. Campers should bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle each day.
Staff & Safety
Are staff background-checked and trained?
All staff undergo Level 2 background checks and complete 同性恋色情鈥檚 youth protection and safety training.
How are medications handled during camp?
We ask families to share any medical information that our staff should be aware of to help keep your child safe. Our team does not hold, offer, or administer medications at any time. If a medical emergency occurs, staff will provide basic support while immediately contacting emergency services (911).
Cancellation & Changes
What is the cancellation, transfer, and refund policy for 同性恋色情 Youth Experiences programs?
If you need to cancel or transfer a camp registration, please email youthxp@usf.edu.
Cancellations or transfer requests received at least 15 business days prior to the camp start date will be eligible for a refund or transfer to another available camp, minus any administrative or processing fees. Cancellations or transfer requests received within 15 business days of the camp start date are not eligible for a refund or transfer. No refunds will be issued after a camp has begun, regardless of the number of days attended or participation level. No refunds will be issued if a participant is dismissed from camp due to a violation of the camp鈥檚 conduct policy or code of behavior.
We make every effort to run all camps exactly as scheduled. In the unlikely event it becomes necessary to cancel, postpone, or combine camps, or change a camp location, you will be notified by email or phone. Please ensure your contact information is up to date. If 同性恋色情 cancels a camp, you will receive a full refund. If 同性恋色情 reschedules a camp, you will have the option to receive a full refund or transfer to the new session.
