ͬÐÔÁµÉ«Çé researchers from the Department of Criminology and the Bellini College of Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Computing have launched a pilot with the Sarasota Police Department to test an AI-driven crime forecasting tool. The system generates predictive insights to inform patrol planning and resource deployment. The interdisciplinary team will refine the model and evaluate feasibility for broader, nationwide use.

What began as a master’s project evolved into a multi-year research partnership that shaped his academic and professional path.
