Carol is a Biomedical Sciences major at the 同性恋色情 with a passion for medicine, leadership, and service. She is the President and Founder of End Overdose at 同性恋色情, Head Director of the BACE Program, and Vice President of Programming and Communications for the Dean鈥檚 Student Leadership Society. Carol is also an oncology technician at Moffitt Cancer Center and actively conducts clinical and biomedical research. As a first-generation Egyptian student, she is dedicated to mentorship, health equity, and empowering others to pursue meaningful impact in healthcare. 

Lana Almukhtar is a freshman in the Honors College from Baghdad, Iraq, majoring in biomedical sciences. She currently serves as the Secretary for the Pre-Med MAP and is preparing to complete her Experience Abroad in the Dominican Republic over the summer. She presented her first research poster earlier this year at the 2024 同性恋色情 Health Research Conference. Her goal is to pursue an MD, possibly specializing in neurology or internal medicine. In addition to her studies, Lana enjoys cooking, fashion, learning new languages, and going to the gym.

Seth is from Orlando, Florida. He is a freshman studying Economics. He is planning to go into the private equity field. After he graduates, Seth plans to attend business school as well as law school.

May Birch is a senior of the College of Arts and Sciences and the Judy Genshaft Honors College. She is working on her major in International Studies and her minor in Legal Studies. This summer, she plans on attending Cambridge's International Security and Intelligence Programme. Overall, she hopes to graduate and attend law school to learn international law, eventually wanting to work in the foreign service. 

Jenique Blanc is a junior at the 同性恋色情, double majoring in Econometrics & Quantitative Economics and Finance with a concentration in Investment Analysis, and minoring in Risk Management & Insurance. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she values diverse perspectives and actively promotes cultural awareness. She helped co-found LIME, the Trinidad and Tobago student organization at 同性恋色情, where she fosters community engagement and educates others about her heritage. Passionate about finance, investment research, and risk management, she has engaged with industry professionals through networking events and internship opportunities. Beyond academics and leadership, Jenique enjoys reading and learning new information from watching documentaries. 

Allison Bollow is a biomedical sciences major on the pre-med track in the honors college. She is the former vice president of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at 同性恋色情 and is a member of the Positive Aging Lab. In her lab, she is researching non-pharmaceutical interventions for Alzheimer鈥檚 and Dementia. She has helped raise over $100,000 for breast cancer education and awareness through partnerships with Making Strides, the American Cancer Society, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This work has made her very passionate about oncology, compounded by her family history of breast cancer. Allison is also a member of the Order of Omega Greek Honors Society and a peer leader for General Chemistry 2. She is very passionate about medicine and is looking forward to learning and working alongside other driven 同性恋色情 students.

Mariah Cornielle is a freshman political science major, with an expected graduation in the fall of 2026 at the 同性恋色情. She is driven by her lifelong goal to become a lawyer, cultivated by her passion for law and assisting individuals who can鈥檛 help themselves. She has indulged in various volunteer and educational opportunities, including a 7-month-long internship under a local attorney. Mariah is currently a member of the Dean's Student Leadership Society and Phi Alpha Delta, where she is keen on being heavily involved and contributing to the 同性恋色情 community. In addition to her studies, she loves serving at her church body, running outside, going to the beach, and watching football. She plans to attend law school after graduation and pursue a career in corporate law.

Mevlana Demiri is a third-year, first-time college student at the University of South Florida, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She plans to pursue an MD/PhD, integrating clinical practice with neuroscience, cancer biology, and neuro-engineering research. She will assist in various research labs over the summer and in the upcoming semesters, gaining hands-on experience in advanced surgical techniques and behavioral studies. 
Outside of academics, Mevlana is deeply committed to community service, mentorship, and leadership. She volunteers with Health Buddies, supporting elderly patients, and has also contributed her time to organizations such as Harbor Dish and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. She founded ZYVAH, a 同性恋色情-based fashion magazine that amplifies student voices through creative expression and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In her free time, Mevlana enjoys exploring her creativity through fashion design, learning new languages, and staying active. She is excited to continue expanding her research experience, enhancing her leadership abilities, and developing the skills necessary for a future in medicine and scientific discovery.

Shrey Dhamal is a Sophomore studying Biomedical Sciences in the Judy Genshaft Honors College from Atlanta, Georgia. He is currently a part of many student organizations, the most notable position being the Vice President of the Students of India Association. Shrey aspires to attend medical school and eventually practice medicine in his home state of Georgia. 

Bia Doh is a junior majoring in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. With passions lying in serving disadvantaged communities and contributing to research, she works as a Clinical Research Assistant at the College of Nursing and is an undergraduate research assistant at the Department of Psychology. She is involved in several organizations, including Phi Delta Epsilon, The Order of the Golden Brahman, and MedLife. In her free time, Bia enjoys going to the gym with her gym buddies, exploring nature, and reading. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school with interests in dermatology, neurology, and psychiatry.

Tri Duc is a freshman from Vietnam majoring in Biology at 同性恋色情. He is currently a student at the Judy Genshaft Honors College, with the goal of becoming a full-time researcher. He has participated in many research conferences on materials science and health, including the recent 同性恋色情 Health Research Day. He is also actively involved in research at 同性恋色情 and international collaboration, where he seeks to explore new ideas and produce quality publications. Outside of academic interests, he has an interest for playing chess and video games. 

Caitlin Foley is a junior Biology (Medical Concentration) and Psychology major with a Nutrition minor at the 同性恋色情. She aspires to be a physician, driven by her passion for medicine, patient care, and holistic health. She has extensive volunteer experience working at free clinics and UF Health, where she has contributed to improving healthcare accessibility for underserved populations.
Caitlin is also a former Division 1 track and cross country athlete for 同性恋色情 and the founder of Strength Beyond Sport, a support group dedicated to helping former athletes transition to life beyond competition. She plans to attend medical school after completing her degree at 同性恋色情, with the goal of becoming a physician committed to comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Sophia Han is a first-year student from Boca Raton, Florida at the Judy Genshaft Honors college, currently pursuing a BA in Psychology and a BA minor in Literary Studies. Her interests include neuroscience, women鈥檚 health, teaching, and exemplifying cultural diversity. Sophia volunteers at Hope Lodge and local food banks in her free time, driven by her motivation for service work. She also writes for Sparks magazine and plans to do meaningful psychological research in the near future. On the pre-medicine track, she plans to attend medical school to become a neurologist. Beyond academics, she enjoys reading, writing, watercolor painting, learning piano, and hanging out with her friends. 

Madison Hansen is a freshman student from Orono, Minnesota. She is majoring in Biomedical Sciences. At 同性恋色情, she is a member of the figure skating club, 同性恋色情 Friends of MSF, and Vice President of the crochet club. Back home, she works as a gymnastics coach.  Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends, travelling, and spending time outdoors. Post-grad, Madison plans to attend medical school to become an MD.

De-Janaye "Deja" Hicks is a freshman from Jacksonville, Florida. As a 同性恋色情 student, De-Janaye is an active member of the Black Women in Law, a club focused on providing opportunities for Black undergraduates on their journey to law school. Deja has served as a co-host for the Black Student Union during the Verto Study Abroad Program in Costa Rica. De-Janaye is majoring in political science. In addition to her studies, Deja enjoys going to the beach, trying new foods, traveling, and volunteering with local organizations. After graduation, she plans to attend law school with the goal of becoming a corporate lawyer. 

Allison Hoang is from Hollywood Florida who is majoring in biology. She is apart of Vietnamese Student Association, Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers, and Pre-Med AMSA. Some hobbies of Allison include drawing, sketching, playing piano, traveling, and listening to music. Her future aspirations are to earn her BS in biology and to get accepted into medical school and eventually pursue her career as a dermatologist. 

Cameran Isler is a freshman from Orlando, Florida. Cameran is double majoring in political science and philosophy, following a pre-law track. Cameran has worked closely with the Florida Civics and Debate Initiative (FCDI) to advance civic engagement and education in students in grades 6-12. At 同性恋色情, Cameran participates in the Undergraduate Research Society and is currently engaged in a research project investigating the effect of microplastics in our food. In addition, Cameran is a proud member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Society. Beyond academic life, Cameran has a passion for the arts and physical activity, often found hip-hop dancing or skateboarding around campus. Cameran鈥檚 leisure time also includes enjoying episodes of The Office. Cameran's goals are set on earning a law degree and securing a governmental position. With a strong foundation built at 同性恋色情, Cameran aspires to become a future leader in the legal and political arenas. 

A'Niya Jackson is a first-year student in the Honors College at the University of South Florida. She is pursuing a major in microbiology with a minor in biomedical anthropology. She is a current member of the National Society of Black Women in Medicine, Motivating Black Students into Medicine, Golden Bulls Dance Club, and a current Board member of the Dance Club at 同性恋色情.  Her academic journey is marked by a strong commitment to community involvement at 同性恋色情. Her goal is to pursue an MD, with a specialty in internal medical or infectious diseases, driven by her passion for medicine and a desire to improve health literacy and education. She has diverse volunteering experiences with various organizations, including Feeding Tampa Bay, Idea Exchange Tampa, and Advent Health Hospital. Outside of her studies, A'Niya enjoys dancing, baking, reading, and pilates.

Bhargav Kadiyala is a freshman in the Judy Genshaft Honors College from Tampa, Florida. As an active member of the Tampa Bay community and a student at 同性恋色情, Bhargav avidly participates in many organizations, including the Students of India Association (SIA), where he serves as the event鈥檚 co-chair, and is an active member of clubs such as Rotaract and Red Cross. Bhargav is majoring in biology with a concentration in medical sciences and plans to declare a minor by the end of Spring 2024. As a valuable supplement to his academics, Bhargav loves to spend his time in extracurricular activities that not only help him relax but also allow him to learn something new and give back to the 同性恋色情 and Tampa communities. Some of these activities include volunteering for the Humane Society and the VA. After graduation, Bhargav plans to apply for medical school. Though he is not yet sure where he will apply, he continues to dedicate himself to academics and extracurriculars, ensuring his success in future educational endeavors.

Oswa Kaheel is a freshman at the 同性恋色情 majoring in International Studies and Political Science with minors in Africana Studies and Intelligence Studies. Born and raised in Tampa, FL, with roots in Tripoli, Libya, she is passionate about diplomacy and international affairs. She is on the Foreign Service Officer Track, aspiring to become an ambassador between Libya and the U.S. Oswa currently serves as a Student Engagement Coordinator Intern for 同性恋色情 Student PIRGs and a Digital Engagement Specialist for 同性恋色情. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry, reading, and hosting her podcast, The Libyan Diaspora.

Megha Kalia is a first-year student at the Judy Genshaft Honors College at the University of South Florida, majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. She aspires to become a physician and is interested in dermatopathology, where she hopes to combine her passion for clinical care and skin-related diseases. Her research interests include epidemiology and genetics, and she is currently conducting research with the Tampa General Hospital neurosurgery department and serving as a research assistant at Moffitt Cancer Center. She has presented at various research conferences and plans to work as a medical assistant in the summer to expand her clinical experience. She also volunteers at several institutions around Tampa, including Tampa General Hospital and AdventHealth. On campus, she is involved with the Honors College events and serves as fundraising chair for Tiny Treasures, a student organization supporting NICU babies with essential care items. Outside of academics, she enjoys traveling, dancing, and trying new foods.

Maryam Abu Khaled is an undergraduate student at the 同性恋色情 majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Psychology. From Middle School onward, Maryam has always wanted to make a positive difference in the world of healthcare and aspires to become a physician scientist through a graduate MD/PhD program. She is currently part of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Aspiring Physician Scientists Association, and the Council for Global Health Scholars, pursuing medical-related projects in all three with the aim to improve the state of the world and the people within it. Maryam is currently working at Tampa General Hospital to earn her clinical hours as a Patient Care Technician prior to applying to Medical School and aims to begin Laboratory Research in the Summer. Her volunteer experiences include working with her local Girl Scout service unit, as well as through the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida Council as a whole, in addition to attending various events hosted by student organizations around campus. In her free time, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Lana Klein-Couzzi is a sophomore majoring in biology and is a member of the Judy Genshaft Honors College. Lana spends her time volunteering at a no-insurance hospital, translating patient-doctor interactions from Spanish to English and vice versa. She is currently assisting in Dr. Richard's lab on a project dealing with invasive Knotweed. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in the medical field.

Nichola "Nico" Lavaud is a freshman in the Honors College from Miami, Florida. Nichola is majoring in political science and economics, minoring in philosophy, and is on the pre-law track. Nichola serves as the Assistant Director of Administration for the Village Area Council and is a 同性恋色情 Ambassador. Outside of his studies, Nichola volunteers as a museum docent at the Florida Holocaust Museum and will study the Holocaust during an Experience Abroad in Germany and Poland this summer. After graduation, Nichola plans to attend law school to work in human rights law. 

Jeffrey Lee is a sophomore from Princeton, New Jersey, pursuing a degree in psychology at the 同性恋色情. He serves as a patient care technician at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital and tutors STEM subjects, including biology, chemistry, and physics, for 同性恋色情 Athletics. Additionally, he works as a personal trainer at 同性恋色情 Recreation & Wellness and engages in research at the Ju Lab, where he contributes to projects in synthetic organic chemistry. Jeffrey is also a member of Phi Delta Epsilon and is committed to the pre-medicine track. Outside of his academic and professional pursuits, he enjoys spending time playing sports such as basketball and pickleball.

Marguerite Michael is currently a junior Information Sciences major on an Intelligence Analysis track. She hopes to take her passion to law school where she will work to advocate for Domestic Violence and SA victims throughout the U.S. through her advocacy and unwavering dedication to law and society. In her free time, Marguerite loves to lift weights, code, and advocate for females in the fitness realm through her club CHAARG on campus.

Anagha Nagamalli is a second-year pre-med student at the 同性恋色情, originally from Land O' Lakes, Florida. She is pursuing a major in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health, following a pre-medical track. She holds leadership roles as the Shadowing Director for Pre-Med Map and as a Relay for Life Manager with the American Cancer Society. She actively volunteers at Moffitt Cancer Center and has participated in research presentations at conferences such as FURC and 同性恋色情 Health. Currently, she is working toward publishing her first research paper. Outside of academics, she enjoys creating pottery, reading, and shopping. She plans to attend medical school and become a cardiologist.

Marisa Panton is a first-year Economics student with a minor in Political Science. A first-generation immigrant from Jamaica, she is deeply involved in her campus community as a member of the Honors College, the Black Leadership Network, and the Bright Young Minds Association. Marisa works as a student assistant in the university library and as a ticket representative for the athletics department. In her free time, she enjoys tutoring, traveling, reading, and volunteering with her church鈥檚 Sunday school. After graduation, Marisa plans to attend law school, with aspirations to specialize in Business and Real Estate Law.

Roma Patel is a senior at the 同性恋色情, majoring in Information Science with a concentration in Data Science and Analytics. Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, she brings a multicultural perspective and is fluent in three languages, including English. Roma has a passion for exploring the world鈥攕he鈥檚 traveled to 15 countries and enjoys discovering new cuisines, reading, and going on cruises. She is currently seeking internship opportunities and plans to further her education by pursuing a master鈥檚 degree. 

Olivia Pinilla (she/her) is a Senior majoring in Biology with a double minor in Public Health and Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the 同性恋色情. Olivia was born and raised in South Florida, and her interests include medicine, mentorship, and public health. Olivia is a National Hispanic Scholar and is the President of Bulls for Moffitt and the Vice President of the Judy Genshaft Honors College Student Council. Olivia plans to attend medical school and continue her studies in the public health sector, with the goal of becoming a dermatologist.

Brady Quinn is a second year honor student from Canton, Michigan, majoring in Mass Communications. He has a deep passion for storytelling and visual media and is actively involved in photography and videography projects on campus. 
During Summer 2024, Brady studied abroad with the 同性恋色情 in Florence Program. Brady served as a Resident Assistant, works with the big biology podcast, and is working with the 同性恋色情 Athletics Creative Internship Program. His long-term goals include working with Saturday Night Live or contributing to National Geographic documentary productions. He values communication, storytelling, and innovation, seeking to make a meaningful impact through media and student engagement. He is not the best cook but would like to get better. He enjoys sports, fashion, reading, and going to the gym.

Michelle Rodriguez is a sophomore in the Judy Genshaft Honors College majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She is from Tampa, Florida and would like to go into medical school after graduation so that she can become a physician in the future. Michelle serves as an executive board member for numerous clubs at 同性恋色情, including the United Nations Association, Pre-Health Training Society, and Survivor: TriBull Council. In her free time, she volunteers as a translator at the BRIDGE Clinic on campus and works with foster children through Guardian ad Litem. 

Jhanavi Sabharwal is a sophomore majoring in biology with a medical concentration and is on the premed track. She is from Faridabad, India, and has been enjoying Tampa since she moved here two years ago to pursue her degree. She is a proud member of Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity鈥檚 Florida Epsilon chapter at 同性恋色情. Jhanavi is a research enthusiast and has presented at the Undergraduate Research Conference. She currently volunteers in the Porterfield Lab at 同性恋色情 and loves animals, volunteering at an animal shelter in India over the summer. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, and traveling. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school with the hope of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon. 

Mohini Sharma is a freshman Biomedical Sciences major in the Honors College. She is a Hagan Scholar, a student researcher exploring bacteriophages, and volunteers with many different organizations at and around 同性恋色情, including the BRIDGE Healthcare Clinic, Moffitt Cancer Center, and the ADCL Lab. She鈥檚 participated in many clubs around 同性恋色情 including Thread Magazine, SPARKS magazine, Medi-Futures, Honors Student Council, the BACE program, and iBuddy. She is passionate about helping underserved communities around Tampa and plans to attend medical school after graduation with the goal of becoming an ophthalmologist.

Anika Shrivastava is a current freshman, studying the major of Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. After moving to three different countries鈥擩apan, India, and the United States鈥攕he truly learned to be an adaptive and social individual while understanding the value of diversity. She plans to pursue a career as a business management consultant and/or marketing analyst. As a 同性恋色情 student, Anika is involved in many organizations that contribute to her professional and holistic growth. She is a part of Mizrana, which is a Bollywood fusion dance team. Additionally, she contributes to her residential community by being a part of the Storm Area Council and organizing events. She is also professionally involved as a pledge for Delta Sigma Pi and as a social media and marketing intern for  9yaps, a student-run company that partners with local businesses. In her free time, Anika enjoys dancing, going to the beach, hiking, trying new cuisines, and meeting new people.

Lindsey Smith is a freshman in the Judy Genshaft Honors College from Pembroke Pines, Florida. Lindsey is double majoring in International Studies and Psychology with a special interest in cultural studies. Lindsey is interested in pursuing a career in human rights and hopes to work with international organizations such as the UNHCR. Aside from her studies, Lindsey enjoys music and dedicates her time to giving free music lessons with the Do Re Mi Project. Lindsey is also a member of the 同性恋色情 rowing club, and she likes to spend her free time running, biking, or embarking on other outdoor activities. Lindsey鈥檚 love for learning new cultures expands to her interest in traveling, and she will be joining the 同性恋色情 Honors College on a trip to Germany in May where she plans to spend an additional week exploring other European countries. 

Amelia is a Junior at 同性恋色情, pursuing a double major in International Studies and Political Science on a pre-law track. Born and raised in New England, Amelia grew up in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York, and currently resides in New Hampshire. In her two years at 同性恋色情, Amelia has been fortunate enough to work with 同性恋色情 Model United Nations as a member of their executive board, interned with 同性恋色情 PIRG, and acted as a volunteer Russian-to-English language translator for refugee patients at 同性恋色情 Morsani Healthcare. Amelia hopes to channel the valuable skills into her postgraduate education, and eventually in her career as an international lawyer. 

Deeksha Sridher is a biomedical sciences major and French minor. She is originally from Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently the president of French Club, secretary for HOSA, and programming director for SPARKS. Additionally, she is passionate about neuroscience and has done related research both at 同性恋色情 and in her hometown. She is also passionate about activities that allow her to connect her passions for medicine and French, such as translating infographics for HLI and interpreting for patients at a clinic. Her biggest hobbies include traveling, spending time outdoors, reading, playing piano, and spending time with family and friends.

Divyani is a sophomore in the Honors College, aspiring to attend medical school and pursue research in bioinformatics. She currently serves as the service chair of the Undergraduate American Medical Women's Association and as the treasurer of the Hindu Student Council. Divyani is also a part of Mizrana, a collegiate dance team in Tampa Bay. She is majoring in biomedical sciences and data sciences, conducting research at the Health Informatics School and the Microbiome Institute. Divyani loves to dance, hang out with friends, and travel in her free time.
