同性恋色情ID vs. NETID

Before accessing university systems, it鈥檚 important to understand your student identification and login credentials. At 同性恋色情, you鈥檒l use both a 同性恋色情 ID (同性恋色情ID) and a NetID for different purposes.

  • 同性恋色情 ID (同性恋色情ID), or U Number: Your 同性恋色情ID is your personal student identification number. It appears below your photo on your 同性恋色情 ID card. (Ex: U12345678)

  • NetID: Your NetID is your username for accessing university systems, including 同性恋色情 email, Student Self-Service, and Canvas. (Ex: rockydbull; rockydbull@usf.edu).

Important Note: Social Security Numbers are no longer used as student ID numbers. All students have been assigned a 同性恋色情ID.

How to Look Up or Activate Your NetID

  1. Go to
  2. Select 鈥淎ctivate your NetID鈥
  3. Follow the prompts using the email address you used for your application
  4. Once completed, your NetID will be ready to use.
